Uphie

I made this sketch for her birthday.  She is a stringer in East Java for Agrina tabloid and be activist for women issues. I meet her when I covered national orange and tropical fruits competition in Batu, Malang, East Java, 2004. When I took the pics of hundred of oranges, we looked each other. Almost the photographers were a man. So, when we were women will clearly visible. And that we were. I saw her used cap and cloth for mountainering. Hemmm…look had a little bit same ‘craziness’.
She helped me made the nice pics for that objects, a hundreds of oranges and fruits. That she companion me made some interviews. And I never forgeted about one moment when we ate ‘bakso’ beside of the railway. She said: this is the most delicious bakso in the world!
